Relaxing!

We are on round two of a stomach bug. We have been doing lots of relaxing and praying that Em is the only one who is going to get sick this round. The Monday after Addy's party Em, Addy and I got a stomach bug and two days later Garth got it. I. Hate. Throw-up. I pray it is over!

Christmas Eve

We stood outside with 250 people in the freezing cold for two plus hours on Christmas Eve.] It was the best two hours of our Christmas Eve. We were welcoming an injured solider and his family to dinner in Mt. Airy!

This is Ninny!

"Look! Up there, do you see it? No, I'm not sitting on the counter. Seriously...look...up there!!"

Ninny doesn't talk much but she is sooo expressive. Every time she is doing something she shouldn't she gets her point on. Distracting us from the real issue. It works! We laugh every time she tries to distract us!!

Breakfast with Santa!

We had breakfast with Santa at Grandma and Grandpa's country club!

Of course, Addyson loved him! She told him she wanted a "walking dog and a big stuffed horse!"

Nin was not a fan! In her defense she had an runny nose, cough and an ear infection (Garth took her to the doctor that morning to get medicine). We were all on the mend from a stomach bug too.

After a little breakfast and some warm up time Nin decided Santa wasn't too bad!

Happy Birthday, Addyson!

It's hard to believe that Addy is 4 years old!

On Addy's real birthday we started the day off with a cinnamon roll!



Then I went to school with her to do the Christmas shop and we spent the rest of the day together.

We went to lunch with Mimi!







We had dinner and cake at home!



On Saturday we had a Princess Day with Addyson's two best friends, Aubrey and Lindsay!





For Addy's birthday party, on Sunday, we went to the movies! We saw Despicable Me! Everyone had a blast!









Needless to say Addyson had a wonderful, friend filled, birthday!!!

"Developmentally Appropriate"

YAY! YAY! YAY!

Nin had her Infant and Toddler Evaluation today and she didn't qualify for their program!! I've never been so happy to hear that she didn't qualify for something!! Everything she is doing and saying is developmentally appropriate!

18 Month Stats

21 1/4 pounds (10 percentile, finally!)
33 inches (75th to 90th percentile)

Finally made it onto the weight charts. Are next mission? To get Ninny talking. The doctor referred Nin to Infants and Toddlers to be evaluated for speech delays. Praying that Ninny will catch up to her peers soon and if not that we can find the help she needs to get her there!!

Preschool!

Addy started preschool! We went together on Wednesday, September 1, for an hour and she went for an hour on Friday, September 3 all by herself! Both days she did great. When we went to pick her up on Friday she looked at us like why are you back so soon.

After preschool we went meet Daddy for lunch at Urban Burger. Then Addy, Em and I went to Georgetown Cupcake for a first day of preschool cupcake!
