Did they retract the article?!
Here is what happened...
Addyson went to sleep last night swaddled, one arm free, on her back. At 12:30 I heard her cry...she had both arms free and was on her back. She didn't wake up, I gave her a binky and she was fine. At 4:30 I heard her stir...she had both arms free and was on her tummy. Yes, she was on her tummy....I was a little scared....but she did fine! She stirred a few times between 4:30 and 6:30 but she didn't wake up...I just gave her binky and she was back out. I woke up more times because I was worried about her sleeping on her tummy.
So....that paper was wrong!
That paper should really retract articles that are wrong!!!! ;)
1/2 a day left...

Good Sleeper Turned Bad!
If the Washingt0n P0st (yes, I used 0 instead of o because I don't need anyone to google that paper and find this blog. I don't need anymore attention from readers of that paper!!) was to write an article about Addyson right now it might go something like this....
Good Sleeper Turned Bad
by: Lauren
Addyson, 6 months old, was always a good sleeper. That all changed one night in June when she broke her swaddle, rolled over and started playing at 5:30 in the morning.
I am hoping that that paper can write a retraction tomorrow or at least another story Bad Sleeper Turned Good!!!! That is an article I would like to read....stayed tuned!
I hope we aren't saying goodbye to the swaddle. We love the swaddle (at least Garth and I do...I think Addy is changing her mind!)
I only have 1 1/2 days of school left....can you hear me singing yet?

Busy!
We have been busy!
I have been taking a lot of pictures lately but I haven't had time to proof many.

I have been taking a lot of pictures lately but I haven't had time to proof many.
EDIT: Scroll down....Scroll down...I proofed A LOT tonight!!!
We have done a lot in the last few weeks...lots of walks (Addy's favorite thing to do at night), Addy's 6 month birthday (OH MY!), Addy started sitting up and rolling belly to back and back to belly (all in the same week), first trip to Ally's and Mallory's pool, June birthday party, Cole's baseball game, we watched KiKi and RiRi and Garth's engine "throw a rod" (ummm...basically it died a quick death on I-70) and did I mention walks lots of walks!!!!
3 1/2 days left with kids and 5 days of work left...summer here we come!!!!!!!

Yes, we finally...
gave Addy cereal...

Her first taste...
Every time Garth and I eat Addy stares at us but today she wasn't sure about cereal. I think she would like to skip cereal and just move onto eating pizza!!!
Ummm...let's just play...
Okay...maybe she likes it...
Nope, she doesn't like it...
This is me trying to capture the moment on video and camera...
Addy is growing up so fast. I can't believe she is eating cereal already (okay so she isn't eating it but she should be and she will be soon...right? I hope it isn't another bottle experience!).
Have a great week!

Yummy!
I stopped by Open Invitations on the way home yesterday to get cupcakes.
Oh my...they are yummy!

So yummy that we ate two before I took pictures...

Open Invitations obviously makes and sells invitations but they also sell "neat finds". The stuff you find in boutiques...I guess Open Invitations is a boutique. And the best part is The Baltimore Cupcake Company set up in a room there and they sell yummy cupcakes and these too cute T-shirts...

Happy Mother's Day!!!
So, it isn't Mother's Day anymore and I didn't really feel that great on Mother's Day but looking back on yesterday I realize it really was a wonderful day!
It felt horrible and so did Garth (the doctor said he was "sicker" than me...or so he says!) but it really was a great day because we just laid around and played with our beautiful daughter. She is such a happy baby and she just played and laughed all day (except when she was hungry...watch out...she wants her bottle)! She played on her mat, in her excersaucer and sitting in mommy's lap! She thought we were so funny she was full of giggles...who could ask for anything more? A beautiful, loving, funny, adorable, precious, caring i could go on forever daughter!
I may have had strep throat and felt horrible but I spent my Mother's Day with my husband and beautiful daughter...and I even got to see my mom...she came to take care of me and Addyson while Garth went to the doctor since he was "sicker" than me (she will always be my momma..that's what I call her)!
I can only hope that I will as good of a momma to Addyson and my mom is to me (I am 25 and my mom still came to take of me)!
I am blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Strep throat and all!
