We went to Cattail Creek last night for the first of four planned
fireworks shows! Addy had 2 snowcones (one strawberry and one orange),
did a spin art, got a puppy tattoo, got a balloon dog and sword, got
another balloon dog...thanks to a very nice daddy who spent most of
his night standing in line again after the first one popped, ate
dinner, and played. Em ate her way around the party...popcorn, dinner,
cookies, watermellon, if someone handed it to her she was eating it.

And of course, we watched an awesome fireworks show! Em and Addy loved
it!

Swim Lessons!

Ms. Stevie is her teacher. She loves being in the water. She hasn't yet figured out how to hold her breath but she really wants to know how. We bought some goggles today in hopes of seeing some fish under the water! ;)




Terri's pool is still too deep (3 feet) for her to stand in but with a life vest and a noddle she gave it a try!

Summer!

I love that I get to spend my days with my kids!

Emery Lorraine

Emery did not have a name for 2 days. Now we rarely call her by her real name. We call her Binny, Bin, Sissy, Em ZQ(Mimi call hers that), and Emery Jane (Addy calls her that). She is still skinny and tall. Loves to say B words! Her first word was bobo! She tries to say banana (or nana), ball, and watermelon. She has a word for everything else and they all start with b. She can sign "please" and "more". Tonight she put them together! "More, please!"

She LOVES ice cream. She screams for ice cream! Actually she screams all the time. Most of the time it is a happy scream, or a "I want that now" scream.



She loves the park and cookies. Having both together, who could ask for more!



Too cute!



She climbs out of everything. When she was little she would climb out of her infant car seat. She was in her jump-a-roo one day at Mimis and Mimi felt someone pulling on her leg. Em had tipped herself forward and reached the floor and rolled out! Now she climbs out of her big girl car seat and her highchair on a daily basis.



When ran out of formula one night and that's the night Em started taking whole milk in her sippy. Goodbye bottles!



She surprises me everyday!

Strawberry Picking

Haven't really blogged in a long time. Lots has happened. Too much to write about. Let's just start from today.

We went strawberry picking and had a blast. Addy, Garth and I picked strawberries and Em walked around checking everything out. Addy was really good at finding red, juice berries! I think we came away with 13 pounds of strawberries. Perfect for the strawberry shortcake we are making for tomorrow!
