She was probably glad that I was having a photo shoot with her!!!! shhh..that's tomorrow!

Shhhhh! I'm getting a speedlight too!!!

I saw an e-mail from B&H that said my speedlight had shipped....hmmm....I didn't order a speedlight....I guess my hints really worked!!

Okay you don't really need to be quiet because I felt bad and had to tell Garth that I saw the e-mail. Can you believe that he actually kept the secret...and I went and ruined it!?!?!?

He is going to bring it home from work tonight so that I can play with it...I already ruined the surprise so now I need to get my hands on it!!!!!!

I am lovin all of this equipment....Nikon D50, 18-55mm lens, 55mm 1.8 lens, 70-300mm f4-f5.6 lens, and a SB-600 speedlight!

Now I need people to take pictures of...hint! hint! I am liking this hint thing...it seems to be working for me!

I plan on taking my beautiful new lens and taking pictures of RiRi and KiKi playing soccer!! (I could stand and the top of the field and still get good pictures with that lens! I heart it!)

I don't mean to gloat but I was right!

I guess Garth couldn't keep the secret because he blurted out "ican'tholditinanymoreiboughtyouyournewlens!!"

For all of you who don't understand that long run on sentence all you need to know is I am getting a new lens! A 70-300mm zoom lens to be exact! I guess the hints worked! I will be sure to post pictures of the new lens (it is beautiful) and look out UPS man I. am. stalking. you.

I also bought myself a present yesterday...a new blanket! It's not for our house but it is to use as a prop/backdrop for pictures. It was a steal! I was originally $75 and I got it for $12!!!! Gotta love a sale!

No Presents!

In case you were wondering Addy didn't get any presents on Monday...can you believe it!?!?!?

But I think Mommy might be getting some soon...her photography wish list is getting longer and I think Daddy has been checking it out (okay...I sent him the link today with a hint attached!)
