Three Years Old!

My first baby girl is three!

Addy had a princess party for her third birthday. Complete with a castle for taking pictures, princess food: fruit wands, pretzel stick wands, peanut butter star sandwiches, and a castle cake, frame decorating, and lots of presents!















We went out to eat and had a pink birthday cake on her really birthday!

Too long...

It's been a long time since I've blogged...too long!

Emery will be 6 months old on Wednesday, it has been a very fast six months.

Emery...



still sleeps in her co-sleeper, in our room.
is sleeping in a sleep sack.
can sit up, for a few minutes, all by her self.
loves her bobo.
gets up on her elbows and knees and rocks back and forth.
gets where she wants to go.
had a hard time gaining weight, so she...
takes 3oz. breast milk, 3 oz. formula bottles 5 times a day.
laughs.
smiles.
is becoming scared of strangers.
thinks Addy is hysterical.
loves her exersaucer.

Addyson...



sleeps in a big girl bed.
has never gotten out of her big girl bed...until today.
said bye to her bobos.
loves her little sister.
is potty trained.
has a puppy.
likes to feed Winston.
wants a job so she can buy ice cream from the ice cream man.
loves to read books.
pretends.
can be a horse, dolphin, princess, tinker, or dog at any given second of the day.
likes princess movies and Tinkerbell.

MUCH better day!

No, I don't want to go to work...ever again. Yesterday was an off day I can't believe I even wrote that I might want to go back to work. I was just checking my work e-mail and saw that there was a birthday celebration on Monday. I thought "Oh, that will be nice for everyone at work...you know since it's the last full day of school and everyone is stressed...that was nice of them." Then I remembered I will be a work on Monday. I almost cried. Seriously, almost cried. Kissed my babies forehead (who is sleeping on my chest) and almost cried. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO WORK! Ugh! I hate that I have to work. I am off to find things I can sale. There must be something worth money in this house. Maybe I have 1 million dollars in my mattress. A girl can dream!

Emery will be 11 weeks old!

Oh my, 11 weeks old...not possible.

I go back to school on Monday for 2 1/2 days. I don't want to go back. Or maybe I do? Maybe I need a break? I haven't been away from Addy and Em in 11 weeks. I love them to pieces but I am stressed. I'm not sure why. Maybe because the house is a mess, too much of a mess for me to start cleaning so the mess just gets bigger, or maybe because Addy is at a hard age. She just wrote all over her teddy bear with a red marker. I mean all over. Then broke down screaming, crying, coughing, choking, red marker all over the place. 2 1/2 has been a hard age. She screams and screams and cries when she doesn't get her way, or doesn't like something I do. I don't give in, I thought it would stop (isn't that what they say?) Maybe I should give in, at least she would stop screaming?

Yes I want some cheese with my whine!!!

5 weeks!

Oh my...Emery is actually 6 weeks, almost 7! I haven't taken her six week picture but I will.

One month! + a day

Emery turned one month old yesterday.

Seriously? One month. Where did the time go.

I did take pictures of her yesterday, with her one month sign. This is what I got...



Yes, she has beautiful skin but, she shouldn't be that pink. Her room is hot pink and that caused her to be hot pink in all of our pictures last night. So, I documented the day but I think we need a re-shoot.

We also celebrated one month as a family of four last night with cupcakes. As you can tell Emery was very impressed...



Emery also proved she was a baby sister yesterday...

Things to remember about Emery at one month...
* she is officially in size 1 diapers (as of yesterday)
* she sleeps like a champ
* she has very little hair on the top of her head.
* she has some longer pieces of light colored hair in the back of her head.
* she loves her bobo
* she grunts a lot
* her puckered lips are too cute
* she tolerates being swaddled
* she loves to hold onto anything when you are holding her. She always holds onto Garth's shirt when he holds her.

I never imagined loving another baby as much as I loved Addy but I do. My love for Emery and Addy grows everyday. I am so thankful to be Addy and Emery's mommy!
