Cows!

Addyson loves to look at cows when we are driving! Every time we drive anywhere we have to look for cows. We often take longer routes home just so we can maybe pass a field filled with at least one cow.

Today was a good day...we passed a field filled with lots of cows, we were able to pull off and watch the cows, we even got to roll down the window and the cherry on top...I took pictures {even if they were taken on Garth's camera phone}!

Ear Infection

That's what they tell us.

My baby was up for 3 and a half hours last night {from 2:30-6:00} not crying, not complaining, just not sleeping. She didn't play at Little Gym, at all. She slept for 3 hours this afternoon. Before dinner tonight all she ate all day was 10 fruit snacks, 10 thats it.

All because of an ear infection.

We don't like ear infections!

Chicken Pox?

Sunday out of no where Addy got these two red dots on her chin. I had just come downstairs and Garth couldn't remember something important he wanted to tell me and I looked at Addy and asked what happened to her chin. That's when it dawned on Garth...that important thing...yeah...he thought she might have chicken pox. Fun! Riley and Kennedy both had chicken pox and it would only make sense that Addy would get them...immunization and all! We called my mom and the doctor and they both told us just to wait and see {something I'm not good at}. I left for work on Monday before she got up and when Garth got her up the spots looked better so off he went to Mimi's. When he got there Mimi sent him home {or to the doctor before she could come back to stay!} So I came home after a half day and off we went. When we got to the doctor they made us stand in the foyer and walked us in the back door. The doctor looked at Addy for maybe 2 minutes and declared "Not chicken pox! It's a rash, a non-descript skin eruption."

Nice! Well take that...it's better than chicken pox...I think! ;)

Terri, She's ready!

My mom bought Addy a life jacket yesterday. When she got up from her nap she wanted nothing to do with the thing but it has snaps and snaps make Addy melt :) She spent a long time snapping, signing and yelling "mor-mor" {translation: more}, and snapping some more. We really wanted her to like the life jacket so this summer she wont mind putting it on everyday when we go to Terri's pool! Every time she even remotely thought, looked or put her arm near the arm hole of the jacket we clapped and Garth and I each tried putting the jacket on. Finally, after dinner Addy decided she would put the jacket on! She walked around for a good five minutes pushing her baby in her stroller and saying "jacket".

Merry-Go-Round

Addy had her first {and second and third;)} ride on the Merry-Go-Round this weekend!







Needless to say Addy liked the Merry-Go-Round and it was $4.50 well spent! :)

Starbucksaholic!

Yep, we have another Starbucksaholic in our family!

I try to make many trips to Starbucks a week. {I <3 Starbucks!} Sometimes I don't get there at all during the work week but every Saturday after we go to Little Gym we walk over to Starbucks. Garth and I get to enjoy a coffee and a yummy treat and Addy gets some varation of a blueberry muffin and a sippy of water {we used to get black bottom cupcakes. We <3ed black bottom cupcakes!}

Tonight we went to dinner at California Tortilla and after a trip the the bike store I went to get a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Garth and Addy were walking around talking, touching and looking at the whole store. I went to get one of those coffee sleeve things and handed one to Addy to play with. When I gave it to here she stared saying "wa-wa" {translation: water} so we gave her her water and put the sleeve around it. She walked out of Starbucks happy as can be. She walked all the way to the car smiling, and holding her "starbucks." I think she loves Starbucks as much as I do...she is sure to be a Starbucksaholic like me!

Cutest Baby in DC!

Yep, I entered Addy in the HOT 99.5 cutest baby in dc contest. She is one of 1900 entered and certainly the cutest. The polls are open, for round one, until tomorrow. We find out on Monday if Addy is in the top 50.

I think I see 5 grand in our future!!!

You can't tell from the screen shoot that I did but there are 14 Addysons in the contest. Not a single one is spelled the same as Addy. Most the versions are Addison but there was one "stranger" than Addyson...Addisyn :)
