Photo Play Date!

On Tuesday Addy and I went into Downtown Frederick to have pictures taken. Addy does not sit still when I pull out the camera or video camera (that's another post...once we figure out how to upload video!) So, I contacted another photographer that is on a photo board I belong to and asked if she could get some pictures of us. We met on Tuesday and had a blast! Addy sat still for her, she got some awesome pictures and I got to play with her adorable daughter. Not only did she get some pictures of Addy but also some of the two of us. I am going to share but I need to ask about the copyright first. She took them...they belong to her...even though they are pictures of Addy {said in my best pro photographer voice}!

Big Girl!

Addyson is officially becoming a BIG GIRL! She is now riding in style in a BIG GIRL car seat!



Yes, you do see that correctly...that is a University of Maryland Terps car seat...gotta start um young!!! We went to Great Beginnings on Saturday and knew what brand car seat we wanted (Britax) but didn't know what model or the oh-so-important color choice. Let's just say the model choice was easy but the color not-so-easy. Then, the salesperson said "They make custom covers!" What took him so long to tell me that?!?! So, we left with a U of MD cover for my car and a denim looking cover (read: cheap) cover for Garth's car...with intentions of going online and buying custom covers. There is a good reason for that too...the salesperson said "It's good to have two...one will always be clean!" I think I am in love...a man after my own heart!

After Garth installed both seats we took a spin around the block...





We, of course, had to document the day with pictures with Mommy and Daddy...





And we tested Mommy's car...

Tutu!

I made Addy Mac a tutu today!

Talk about productive! During her first nap I cut tulle...4 l o n g yards of tulle. During her second nap I assembled the hot pink and white tutu!

I am one accomplished woman...I MADE A TUTU!!!

Pictures to come...she is napping...I had to resist going in her room and putting her hot pink and white tutu on her...the tutu I MADE!

Can you tell I am proud...I made something!

The Faces!

Oh, the faces this girl can make!







I have no idea why these faces are her new thing! But aren't they too cute?!?! Squity eyes and all!

When she gets really excicted she will snort {it's very becoming of a young lady} So, Garth started snorting to get Addy to snort...



and it worked...



And to prove she can open her eyes...



Excuse the ear sticking out! Now you know what Garth looked like when he was a baby...Addy with big ears...really...if her ears always stuck out {like Garth's did} she would be a spitting image of him!

Best Friends?!

Maybe, just maybe, they'll be best friends!!!









We went over to Mallory's house on Saturday and Addy and Mallory actually looked at each other!
(baby step people...baby steps!)
Not only did they look at each other but they also sat near each other and played with the same toy!

Mallory was too cute. She kept bringing Addy all of the toys that I brought with us....as to say "Ummm...yeah...your mom brought you these toys...STAY AWAY FROM MINE!" If you asked Mallory to bring Addy a toy she would pick up one of Addy's and hand it to her.

She also had fun "talking" to Garth. Mallory would say something is Mal language and Garth would babble back and Mallory would laugh!!!!

I am so glad that Addy and Mal are only ten months apart. I think they are going to be great friends. And what's more fun than a best friend with a pool...gotta love the perks!

Addy and Garth got to enjoy a freezing-cold-five-minutes in the pool on Saturday.



Addy still had fun...she thought the water was too cold but it was really funny watching Daddy swim around the pool!
